Lets start with INTUOS 3. It dosnt work with latest drivers. Old drivers which wacom support is pointing to are so full with glitches, so its better to use mouse trust me.
So basicly Sierra turned my good old Intuos 3 in mouse pad. Oficiall replay from Wacom: 'Thank you for contacting the Wacom Customer Support Team. Unfortunately, our legacy devices including the Intuos 3, are no longer supported on the most recent operating systems. Our legacy devices will not receive any new updates any more and will thus not be made compatible with the latest operating systems.' So if you are on Intuos 3 - you better dont even think about any upgrades. INTUOS PRO TOUCH L. Latest driver (6.3.18-4) cleaned up some problems, but still some remains: PROBLEM NR1 Selective selection of files with function key.
Hold cmd + selecting random files: - Sometimes this selection doesnt work - just keeps selecting one file. Sometimes it does work, but when i leave cmd - it keeps adding files to selection like i'm holding cmd or shift.
I cant replicate same with macbook trackpad - so it must be something with Intuos. Sometimes: Click on other application window doesnt bring it to front. Still it kind of interacts with it. So i must use cmd + tab to activate aplication first and then i can fully interact with it. PROBLEM NR3 Same selection problems exist inside apps like Adobe Illustrator (selecting vector objects), Maya etc. There are few lucky times when those problems just disapear. Its almost 2 months since Sierra official release and nobody seems to care.
Does anybody else experience same problems? Any solution (besides OS downgrade)? My Intuos 3 also suddenly stopped working this weekend. It's weird because it was working just fine for a couple of months after I installed Sierra (macOS 10.12.1). Tried uninstalling all the old drivers, downloaded the same new drivers from Wacom's site (6.3.18-4) and now my system preferences say 'a supported tablet was not found on the system.' If Wacom has indeed abandoned the Intuos 3, I'm going to have to get a new tablet, but I'll be damned if I'm going to buy anything else from Wacom if this is how they treat their loyal customers. After Sierra 10.12.2 my wacom gear has become unusable.
This one stopped working with Sierra. Fair enough it`s an old Wacom board, so I dont mind that.
Intuos Pro Medium I`ve had a bunch of stuff with this one. After upgrading to Sierra:. The Pen is way to sensitive when it comes to clicking/doubleclicking.
The Pen randomly selects everything, to use the pen I have to keep pressing cmd+D do deselect. Clicking drops in and out. Clicking items/buttons etc keeps dropping out. I can however move the cursor with the pen, but I cannot click anything. I will have to use the mouse to click or close a window etc, before it works for a short while. Cintiq 24HD. All the same issues as with the Intuos Pro Medium.

Uninstalling driver, reinstalling driver. Downgrading to older driver. Upgrading to newest driver ( Driver 6.3.20-4). Turning off Ink. Turning off Accessability. Cleaning system, removed every wacom related file prior to installing new and old. Upgrading to latest OS, I am now on OSX 10.12.3 beta (16D17a).
I know it is stupid to go on the Beta, but I am desperate. This thing is messing up my work. From Bad to worse For me it got much worse after 10.12.2. Untill 10.12.2 it was mostly sensitivity and the random selection that bothered me. After 10.12.2 it is impossible to use my wacom gear.
I even got so annoyed that I broke one of my pens.didn`t help though. Apple Footer. This site contains user submitted content, comments and opinions and is for informational purposes only.
